I'd love to hear you reflect more generally on why it is that AI is making it so hard for us to think clearly. Is it just wounded narcissism à la Copernicus, Darwin, and Freud? Whipped up fear? A general apocalyptic mood that now attaches to AI, whereas just yesterday it attached to climate change?
Excellent point about a certain kind of AI expert that opines universally but had expertise in nothing in particular.
